Warbirds
A large contingent of WW-2 Warbirds and other military aircraft will be on display and flying as well, which include:
- Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association
- North Carolina Chapter: Historic & Educational display of “Huey” &“Cobra Gunships”. Veteran pilots give the public personal tours & demonstrations of Vietnam era military aircraft.
- “Ponderous Polly” - Fairchild C-123K
- A huge twin engine cargo/multi-purpose military work-horse known as “Ponderous Polly”. She flew many missions in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Nicaragua and probably some other places she shouldn't. She is a true piece of history.
- Carolina’s Wing of the Commemorative Air Force
- This AT-19 was assigned to the Royal Air Force in India during WW II.
- Carolina Military Vehicle Preservation Assoc.
- A non-profit organization devoted to the restoration of military vehicles.
